The note you end on is so important. It addresses the victimizing discourse coming from many men right now who are asserting dominance in cruel ways.

Thank you, I absolutely agree.

Women are speaking up and speaking out about men being the problem.

They’re right, and they need to continue until more people believe them.

Feminist anger is polarizing, especially if all you hear is the anger and not the men.

Hot take: it’s not their job to change men. It’s ours.

We won’t convince men to change by making them defensive. Men need to be met with compassion and understanding.

Compassion doesn’t mean allowing shitty behaviour or denying accountability.

Just like I teach my kids: kindness isn’t always nice, and being nice isn’t always kind.
